Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic massage applied with special oils as it is suitable for your body type (vata, pitta, kapha). Plenty of oil is applied all over the body using firm long strokes. The oil is applied for the purpose to disintegrate the toxins and the doshas in the connective tissue. It is an essential part of Ayurvedic purification process. At the end of the massage, you will feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

Who is Githa?

Githa was born in Istanbul in 1971. He graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy and continued theatre work and lived in Vienna for many years. He left theatre after he returned to Istanbul: started his Far East trips, yoga and healing work. He adopted the name Githa. After all the travels and the transformations, he established Githa Yoga and the Healing Studio in 2014 at Gumussuyu. Githa, recently, has been conducting Massage and Body Therapy training programs in Istanbul and Ankara, organizes trips to Goa in India.
