Mat Pilates, are a series of movements we practice on a mat by using our own body weight standing up or on the floor by working our muscles. Mat pilates while strengthening the muscular tissue at the same time increases the resilience of the body, bone density and the movement ability of the joints.
In these classes, stability ball, thera band, toning ring equipment are used. Because these classes are taken in a group setting, it is not possible for the instructor to attend to each attendant in detail. If done properly and with discipline, Mat Pilates is highly rewarding and allows the student to achieve desired outcomes.
