Restorative yoga is a meditative yoga style allowing for complete relaxing and resting. It supports other active yoga styles. Different kinds of equipment is used: blocks, blankets, belts, bricks, sandbags and bolsters.
The hardened body is gently relaxed, flexed and overly stimulated nervous system is refreshed. The poses are practiced sitting or lying down and lasts for 10-20 minutes. It is designed to completely surrender the body, fill in the spaces, relaxing and softening. It is a recreative meditative style of yoga that anyone can do aiming to get rid of the daily stress and exhaustion.
